How we got here
PNS News began as a small desk filing local copy that larger outlets skipped — ward meetings, market prices, drainage works, the ordinary machinery of a city. Over more than a decade that beat widened into the districts, and into Telugu, Urdu, Hindi and English. What did not change was the method: turn up, ask, check, file.
The training programme grew out of the same office. Graduates kept walking in asking how to start, and the honest answer was that nobody hands you a first assignment. So we started handing them out — supervised, edited, and published. The channel-setup service followed for the reporters who decided not to wait for a vacancy at all.
