Terms & Conditions

These conditions apply to our journalism training courses, graduate mentorship, and channel or platform setup services.

Last updated: 1 August 2026

01Enrolment

A seat is confirmed only once the admission fee is received and the newsroom sends a written confirmation with your batch dates.

Places are limited per batch and are allotted in the order confirmations are issued.

02Fees and payment

Fees quoted for a programme cover tuition, supervised assignments and editing feedback unless stated otherwise. Travel, equipment and personal expenses are not included.

Instalment options, where offered, must be cleared before certification is issued.

03Attendance and conduct

Certification requires meeting the minimum attendance and completing the assigned field work for the programme.

Plagiarism, fabrication of quotes or sources, or misuse of a PNS News press identity ends participation without refund.

04Cancellation and refunds

Cancel more than seven days before a batch starts and the fee is refunded less an administrative charge.

Once a batch has begun, fees are not refundable, but a seat may be deferred once to a later batch where circumstances warrant it.

If PNS News cancels a batch, fees paid for it are refunded in full.

05Mentorship and placement

We introduce trainees to newsroom contacts and support portfolio building. We do not guarantee employment, and no fee is charged for placement introductions.

06Channel and platform setup

Deliverables, timelines and costs for channel setup are agreed in writing before work begins. Third-party costs such as hosting, equipment and platform fees are billed at actuals.

Reach, subscriber growth and monetisation depend on platform policies and audience response, and cannot be guaranteed by PNS News.
